A MATCH MADE IN DESIGN HEAVEN—This fall, United Nude joined forces with avant-garde design house threeASFOUR at New York Fashion Week, marking their five-year return to the runway.
threeASFOUR’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, SAMSĀRA, showcased the intricate craftsmanship and complex pattern cuts that have defined their world for decades. The runway featured custom footwear developed by United Nude—adapting the brand's architectural icons with high-gloss metallic finishes alongside reconstructed denim textiles from the SAMSĀRA collection.
Each pair created with threeASFOUR is a limited-edition art piece resulting from a deep collaborative design process. The partnership bridges threeASFOUR’s complex tailoring with United Nude’s structural shoe designs, yielding a striking fusion of artistic expression and innovative footwear engineering.
Edge Boot
Reimagined for threeASFOUR with a customized recessed wedge base, presented in high-shine metallic silver finishes and indigo-dyed vintage denim fabrics.

United Nude’s most highlighted press piece appeared in a brilliant, monochrome all-silver finish from upper to outsole.
Loop Toe Block Hi
Making its debut ahead of United Nude’s SS27 collection, this style introduces a sculptural new take on the core Loop silhouette.
3D-PRINTED RING SANDAL
At the center of the collection, this futuristic sandal features a hollow circular heel structure and an arched platform in a high-shine chromed finish. Designed by threeASFOUR and prototyped by United Nude, it was custom-engineered for runway support using UN's signature strap alignments and technical trims.

Established in 1998, threeASFOUR is a New York design collective working at the intersection of fashion, technology, and art. Renowned for its complex patternmaking, exploration of sacred geometry, and pioneering use of 3D printing, the studio fuses advanced digital fabrication with traditional craftsmanship.

threeASFOUR's work has been exhibited in major cultural institutions worldwide, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. Their designs are permanently housed in London’s V&A Museum and the MET Costume Institute in New York today.
